“I’m an accessible and dedicated lawyer who’s not afraid to use complex material to arrive at a simple, practical solution. I’ve been assisting most of my clients for many years, which means I know their organisation well and a relationship of trust has developed. That makes it easy to engage and benefits my work.”
Elianne Vroege-Scheffers is an employment lawyer with a broad advisory and litigation practice. Her work covers all aspects of employment law, with a focus on HR-related issues, such as drawing up and amending employment conditions, reorganisations, dismissal and illness. This goes hand in hand with assisting her clients in proceedings concerning wage sanctions imposed by the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) on the grounds of insufficient compliance with reintegration obligations (objection and appeal proceedings and reduction requests).
Elianne is known for her personal (informal) approach and quick thinking. She is a dedicated lawyer who often builds long-term relationships with her clients. These long-term relationships are precisely why her clients turn to her with all kinds of legal questions and why she’s able to provide them with practical advice based on her knowledge of the organisation. This makes her not only a conflict resolver, but also a sparring partner who helps to take the organisation to the next level.
Elianne has been working in employment law since 2012 and has been a lawyer since 2013. She completed the specialisation course in Employment Law at Grotius Academy in 2018. Elianne is a member of the Dutch Association of Employment Lawyers (VAAN), the Employment Law Association (VvA) and the Amsterdam Association of Employment Lawyers (Vaaa). She is also registered as an employment law specialist in the Dutch Bar Association’s Register of Legal Practice Areas.
