Daan advises and represents clients in commercial and corporate disputes. His work includes disputes concerning the formation, interpretation and performance or breach of contracts, directors’ liability and acquisitions. He also regularly litigates before the Enterprise Chamber, both in inquiry proceedings involving strained relationships within companies and on behalf of shareholders in shareholder expulsion proceedings.
With his sharp analytical skills and litigation experience, Daan is a strategic sounding board for his clients. He combines in-depth legal knowledge with a pragmatic approach, recognising the different roles parties may hold within a company.
Daan graduated from Utrecht University in 2019 with a master’s degree in Business and Law and was admitted to the Dutch Bar in January 2021. He joined Köster Advocaten in October 2026, having previously worked at Heron Legal in Amsterdam.
