Jelger de Boer

Jelger specialises in corporate law in the broadest sense and focuses primarily on the resolution of disputes in the fields of D&O (directors’ and officers’) liability, shareholder disputes, acquisitions and other contractual issues. In the past, he has advised and assisted both Dutch and international clients in complex and cross-border proceedings before various authorities, including the Enterprise Chamber.

Jelger also has many years of experience with appeals in cassation and is a member of Köster’s Cassation department.

Jelger graduated cum laude in 2017 with a master’s degree in Corporate Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During his studies, Jelger worked for a long time as an (external) Registrar at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, where he gained a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of litigation. Before joining Köster, Jelger worked at a corporate litigation boutique firm in Amsterdam. He’s a member of the Corporate Litigation Association, the Dutch Association for Procedural Law and the Association of Civil Cassation Lawyers.
