Archana Mahabiersing started her career as a lawyer in 2013, specialising in procedural law. She also leads the Attachment and Enforcement Law team within the Procedural Law team.

Litigation is more than merely arguing a case with legal knowledge; it requires strategic and astute thinking. This is where Archana sees her added value:

Archana focusses in particular on providing legal assistance in domestic and international transfers for athletes, including negotiating and drafting transfer and agency agreements, employment contracts, and termination agreements. Archana also provides assistance in dispute resolution within football.

Archana is a go-getter: dedicated and tenacious. She has a real winner’s mentality. Archana is a member of the Association for Sport and Law. Until February 2018, Archana was Chair of the Board of the Noord-Holland Young Bar Association. In 2019, she successfully completed the Grotius specialisation course in Domestic and International Contracting. Archana is Chair of the Association of Debt Collection and Litigation Lawyers (VIA), the (only) association of litigation specialists within the Dutch Bar Association.

Since 1 October 2023, Archana has been an editorial member of the Beslag, Executie & Rechtsvordering in de praktijk (BER) journal published by SDU.
