Stefan Nieuwendijk is a specialist in the field of corporate litigation (the intersection between corporate law and procedural law). He advises and litigates on behalf of both Dutch and international clients on a wide range of corporate law issues, such as disputes in acquisitions, shareholder disputes, the buy-out of minority shareholders, directors’ and supervisory directors’ liability, and inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
Stefan is also a specialist in the resolution of legal disputes in contractual relationships between Dutch and international professional parties. During his career as a lawyer, Stefan was seconded for four months as Legal Counsel (Europe region) at Lineage Logistics. Lineage Logistics is a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics solutions. During this period, he was the internal point of contact for legal matters in Europe and acted as a sounding board for the European Leadership Team. Lineage Logistics says about Stefan:

He graduated cum laude from Maastricht University (master’s in Private Law) in 2017 and has been a lawyer since June 2018. In January 2026, he completed the Grotius postgraduate specialisation programme in Corporate Litigation. Stefan has worked at Köster Advocaten since August 2023. Before that time, he worked in the corporate law and litigation departments of two large international law firms, Loyens & Loeff N.V. and NautaDutilh N.V. In addition to working as a lawyer, Stefan has also been an editor at Ondernemingsrecht Updates (OR Updates) since February 2022. He is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and the Dutch Procedural Law Association.
