Frédérique specialises in insolvency law and corporate law. Her work includes restructuring, securities, and shareholder disputes. If the interests of the case so require, she also assists clients in legal proceedings.
Frédérique is also regularly appointed as a trustee by the District Court of Noord-Holland and is involved in the settlement of other insolvencies handled by Köster Advocaten. Her many years of experience as a trustee allow her to provide excellent assistance to clients facing insolvency or directors’ liability. Her passion for insolvency law in particular makes her flexible and forward-thinking when deciding what approach to take.

Frédérique joined Köster Advocaten on 1 April 2023. Before then, she worked for a long time as a lawyer and trustee at a firm in Amsterdam. Frédérique obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law from Leiden University. She completed her master’s degree in Private-Law Practice at the University of Amsterdam. In 2021, Frédérique completed the Grotius specialisation course in Insolvency Law, and in 2023 the Insolad Specialisation Programme in Financial Economics for Insolvency Lawyers.
Frédérique is a (prospective) member of Insolad (Association for Insolvency Lawyers).
