Theo Roest is a solid, structured professional in the field of property law and construction law. His extensive experience makes him a reliable sparring partner for his clients. Having assisted developers, builders as well as objectors for many years, he’s thoroughly familiar with the ins and outs of property law as well as spatial administrative law. He deals with zoning plans on a daily basis, but building contract documents are also part of his daily work.

But Theo also makes good use of the excellent internal cooperation within the firm: he can always rely on the expertise of other practice groups in assisting his clients. Theo therefore always aims for the best possible result. He loves the dynamic, versatile, exciting and hectic nature of his profession. It gives him energy, he says:

“If there used to be a fight in the street, I always took the side of the underdog and then explained why they were right. I could keep that up for a long time.”

Theo Roest is a specialist in property law and construction law, and has extensive experience in spatial administrative law (zoning plans, permits and developments). He completed his law studies at Leiden University in 1990 and subsequently pursued a free study programme. In addition to his work, Theo plays basketball and holds a number of board positions.
